Dr. Adrian Arya was raised on a dairy farm in Tempe.  He remained in Arizona while earning his
undergraduate degree in biology at Arizona State University, where he graduated magna cum
laude.  
Dr. Arya went on to graduate with honors from Tulane Medical School in 1995.  He then
performed his residency at the University of Texas in Houston and the MD Anderson Cancer
Center.  
After completing his training, he returned to the Phoenix area and joined Biltmore Ear, Nose and
Throat.  Dr. Arya is board certified in otolaryngology, head and neck surgery.  He is an active staff
member at Good Samaritan Hospital, St. Joseph's Hospital and Phoenix Children's Hospital.  His
practice involves all areas of pediatric and adult diseases of the ear, nose and throat.

Dr. Bowne was raised in the Midwest.  After obtaining his B.S. in biology he worked several years in
molecular biology, immunology and microbiology before pursuing his medical degree at the St.
Louis University School of Medicine.  He graduated with honors and was inducted into the Alpha
Omega Alpha Honor society for his accomplishments in medical school.  He completed his
residency in the department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at St. Louis University
School of Medicine.
After residency, he formed a successful solo practice in which he practiced all major areas of
pediatric and adult ENT for six years with an emphasis on pediatric and sinus related problems.  
He has been active in and served as past president of his county medical society and active in his
state otolaryngology medical society chapter.
Dr. Bowne is board certified in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and is on staff at Phoenix
Children's Hospitals, Good Samaritan and St. Joseph's Hospital.
David Bowne, MD
Dr. Charous grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and attended Cornell University, College of Arts
and Sciences, in Ithaca, NY.  He obtained a Bachelors of Arts degree in Biology with a
concentration in Neuroscience.  He was a member of the Golden Key National Honor
Society, made Dean’s List, and graduated with Distinction in all Subjects.
After graduating, Dr. Charous attended the New York University School of Medicine in
Manhattan.  He excelled in his clinical years and earned a position to study Otolaryngology-
Head and Neck Surgery at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA.  He trained with
nationally recognized experts in head and neck surgery, sinus surgery, voice surgery, and
facial plastic surgery.
Dr. Charous is board certified in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and is a diplomate of
the American Board of Otolaryngology.  He is an active staff member at St. Joe's, Banner
Good Samaritan, and Phoenix Children's Hospitals.  Dr. Charous practices all aspects of
general otolaryngology, and has particular interests in rhinology and laryngology.  He lives in
Phoenix and enjoys diving, biking, skiing, hiking, golf and traveling.
Daniel Charous, MD
Dr. Taffet came to Arizona in 1986.  He graduated from Syracuse University Magna Cum Laude
where he majored in Biology and Fine Arts.  He completed his medical education at New Jersey
College of Medicine and his residency in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery at Downstate
reconstruction and was an assistant professor of Surgery at the State University in New York.  He is
a Member of The American Academy of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgeons, The
American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, as well as State and County
Medical Societies.  He serves on the Physician Advisory Board of Diver Alert Network.  He has
performed over 15,000 sinus, and Head and Neck procedures.  He is an active scuba diver and
skydiver, and enjoys hiking the slot canyons of Northern Arizona and Southern Utah.  He has
participated in Samaritan’s Outreach Program for 13 years which has delivered specialty medical
care to outlying and rural areas of Arizona and the Navajo Nation.  In 2000, Dr. Taffet was
awarded Physician of the Year by Phoenix Memorial Hospital for his contributions.  Dr. Taffet was
also recently elected as one of Phoenix Magazine's "Best Doctors of 2009-2010".  His highest
priority is his wife Debbie, his two daughters Jordan and Jesse, and his new son, Paxton.
